Football Wildcard Picks

Hi everyone, after another winning week I have officailly got over 52 percent on my overall picks and finished the year 52-37 (or 58.4 percent) on my best bets. I always try to tell everyone that I know what I am doing and my research and knowledge is paying off. I know the twitter universe will troll me for my playoff picks but that’s okay. I will wear it, let’s give it a go shall we!!

SATURDAY GAMES

49ERS -9.5 OVER seahawks

I am going against the sharps here as I think the way the Hawks actually could hang around was to get some chunks plays in the passing games but with Northern Califronia getting hit by a bomb cyclone I do not forsee that happening. That means an underwhelimng offensive line and worn down rookie running back has to run the ball and control the clock against the number one run defense in the league. No thank you as the wise man once said. Brock Purdy will have a dud at some point it the playoff (it’s as ineviable as Tom Brady going to heaven) but I do not think he will have to do much to win this game. Not a strong play but give me S.F.

49ers Win 23-9

JAGUARS +2.5 OVER chargers

I do not love this game (it’s my least favorite to bet on) but you know the drill already, I will give input every game so I will lean the Jags here and I have 3 reasons why. 1. Mike Williams is out as Brandon Staley did something absoultely dubious, playing his starters for over three quarters in a meaningless game and getting one of his best weapons hurt in the proccess. 2. The Jags are the more complete team by weighted DVOA and every advance metric, why is the Chargers the road favorite? 3. Doug Pederson is a far better and more experienced coach than Brandon Staley. I think this game is a coin flip so let’s piss people off and say Bolts win w/o cover.

Chargers Win 27-26 (Jaguars Cover)

SUNDAY’S GAMES

BILLS -13.5 OVER dolphins

Yes I am taking the Bills as a huge favorite but have you seen Skylar Thompson play Quarterback? He plays Quarterback like I would play Quarterback, with the fear of a deer and the arm of a baby (like a human baby). So yes in other words we have probably the most complete team in the AFC with more emotion than maybe any team in the history of football has ever had against a team playing their third string Quarterback (who might just be Trace McSorely’s clone, they even wear the same number). Demar Hamlin’s recovery just shows how remarkable life can be sometimes. He’s already home and there is a good chance he will be at this game, Bills by a million

Bills Win 34-10

giants +3 over VIKINGS

Yes I know I am a sucker and yes I know the Vikings are 11-0 in one score games this year. You know who was the second luckiest team in one score games this year? Yeah the New Jersey Giants (8-4-1). Of the four one score losses three weren’t really that close. A 7 and 8 point loss to Dallas in games that the Giants scored late to make a one score game and last week’s 6 point loss that also the Giants scored late to make a one score game. The other loss was to these Vikings on Christmas Eve by 3 on a 61 yard field goal mind you!! In other words the luck faries are about to shift as nobody is ever this lucky for a whole season, Barkley has big day, G Unit!!

Giants Win 27-20

ravens +8.5 over BENGALS

I don’t know if it’s Anthony Brown or Tyler Huntley I like the Ravens to make this a face only a mother could love ugly game and here is why. The Ravens have a sensational defense and an excellent pass rush (48 sacks which is 5th in the league). You know who struggles protecting their quarterback as of late? Yes the Cincinnati Bengals (who their right side of their line Cappa and Collins are out). That means lots of pressure with four or five rushers on Burrow. The Ravens are already excellent against the run so I think the Bengals stuggle to move the ball. Do I think John Harbaugh can win this game, probably not? But keep it close, absolutely, take under.

Bengals Win 20-13 (Ravens Cover)

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

BUCS -2.5 OVER cowboys

Is Tom Brady really getting points against the Dallas Cowboys? When Brady is at home? When Brady has an extra day of preperation? When the Cowboys (who have a history of blowing games just like this) have more pressure than balloon that is getting an uncontrollable amount of helium. You know what happen when a balloon keeps getting helium without control? Yes I do the mother sucker son of a gun pops. Dak Prescott has not played good football in well outside of games against the Bears and Vikings pretty much all year. This is stealing money and the fact the public is even considering the Cowboys is why they say casinos are built, easy $

Bucs Win 27-23

Last Week: 10-5-1

Regular Season: 136-125-11
