Football Picks Week 8

Hi everyone, hope you have been fading me if you have then you a profitable week last week. My explanations on these games is only more reason for you to pick against me. But hey every squirrel can find a nut. I did hit last nights game for my second Thursday night win of the season. I suppose well continue to try to not lose like I’m the New York Jets and Robert Saleh, let’s go!!!

LONDON TOWN

JAGUARS -2.5 OVER broncos

I am waiting for the Russell Wilson workout video to come out. Or just hop on a plane and start doing pilates and you are doing the Wilson. For this game I just do not see another continent fixing the Broncos issues. A coaching change may be imminent which we stated would be unprecedented if Nathaniel is Hacketted before finishing one full season. Jags also are due to not screw it up, I think.

bears +10 over COWBOYS

You are going to notice a trend with me but I cannot in my right mind take a Cowboys team that does score a lot to cover a double digits spread. The scary part of this line and why it’s primarily a stay away or a slight lean on the Bears side is that favorites over 7 are only 8-16 ats. Also give me a team that runs the hell out of the ball to counter a great pass rush and you have yourselves a close game

Cowboys Win 19-14 (Bears Cover)

SAINTS +1.5 OVER raiders

I know this is a sharp play as the wise guys are pounding the fighting Dalton’s where as the Carr troopers are the public bet but I’m going to go on the sharp play here. This is why, the Raiders in the middle can be had and the Saints offensive line is in a word awesome. Look for Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill to get it going the Vaders to be playing catchup and not quite keep up, Saints win.

Saints Win 31-24

panthers +4 over FALCONS

This is my strictly buying the extra point here but I think these teams are pretty evenly matched. The Falcons can run the hell out of the ball but the Panthers strength of their roster is the front seven and I think they can at least contain the Falcons somewhat. Plus I think P.J Walker will make a couple of throws down the field on a weak secondary. I do think Mariotta finds a way to win it at the end though

steelers +10.5 over EAGLES

It’s gross to go against Philly right now but I do like Mike Tomlin as a big underdog. Outside of a bad October day in Buffalo the Burgh has been paying out all season as a big dog. I think that does not change in this spot as I think defensively as the Steelers are getting slightly more healthy they can ugly up this football game maybe even make the Eagles sweat it out. Yes I’m taking big dogs, yuck yuck

Eagles Win 24-17 (Steelers Cover)

dolphins -3.5 over LIONS

I do not like to fade the sharps but I just cannot take the Lions in this spot even with the threat of a backdoor cover, two reasons why I LOVE Miami in this game to win easily. 1. The offensive talent and speed is too much for the worst defense in football. 2. Jared Goff is absolutely reprehensible against the blitz. Who blitzes more than just about any team in the league, you guess it Miami, Phins big.

Dolphins Win 37-20

cardinals +3.5 over VIKINGS

This line opened at Vikings minus 6 and dropped 2.5 points. That is two things, 1. The DeAndre Hopkins effect (Cards are just a different team with him in the fold), 2. The Vikings are just not that good of a team. Outside of a week one blowout of the Packers the Vikings have beat a lot of bad teams in close games. This is a class up for them and I think the Cardinals win this game outright.

JETS +2.5 OVER patriots

I hate this game I hate this game I hate this game I hate this game. I would have been all over New England in this spot before Bill Belichick had to go and ruin his alleged franchise Quarterback’s confidence. How can a young 24 year old man bounce back from being booed and the backup being chanted 7 games in the following season after winning ROY. It’s a mess, Jets I have to take here.

titans -2.5 over TEXANS

I get why this line is so low after hearing Ryan Tannehill might not play due to an ankle injury. At beginning of the week I had the Titans in my best bets but have removed it for a different game that I will discuss later (clue it’s not a Sunday game).. However, for how frisky the Texans are the leagues worst run defense against Derrick Henry does not sound like a good combo, no matter who QB is, Ten it is.

Titans Win 22-16

SEAHAWKS -3 OVER giants

I am going to keep fading the Giants even though Vegas disrespects them as much as I have. All signs point to the Seahawks (the surprise of all of football by their play thus far) as being more sustainable than the Giants. That blowout win in L.A last week was extremely eye opening. Plus can the Giants keep winning one score games? I say they finally lose one, Geno remains in first place!!

Seahawks Win 27-20

COLTS -3 OVER commanders

This Sam Ehlinger experience is going to likely blow up in the Colts masses face. Jim Irsay has lost his damn mind!! However, this line does not make any sense so I am going to fade all of the public and sharps here and take the Colts minus three. Why, well I think the Colts go back to their roots, lots of Jonathan Taylor and two because the bookmakers are smarter than you and I and know all.

Colts Win 23-15

49ers -1.5 over RAMS

Sure many folks are shocked Niners are favored but they are better and you they haven’t lost in regular season to Rams since 2018 and last time they failed to cover in any game against the Rams is 2019. I just love the 49ers front against a bad offensive line. This is a nightmare matchup for L.A. Secondly, give me the good team (Niners I still think are going to be good) off a bad loss, S.F all day long.

SUNDAY NIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT

packers +10.5 over BILLS

I absolutely hate this pick, but very often Rodgers in stand alone road games that he has no shot in (2015 Divisional playoff, 2014 NFC Championship game) his Packers show up in a big way. They have no business hanging with this juggernaut but no one is giving him a shot here. NOBODY BELIEVES IN YOU AARON!!! A desperate Packers team plays their game of the year but Josh Allen wins it late.

Bills Win 27-23 (Packers Cover)

MONDAY NIGHT WITH JOE AND TROY

BROWNS +3 OVER bengals

I love the Browns in this spot. Also fade the public on Monday night. Everyone loves this Bengals team, oh Joe Burrow is elite. Nobody can stop this passing game, it’s the best ever. Well Ja’Mar Chase is out, hurts passing game. D.J Reader is out. Now the most awesome running back tandem has holes in the middle. The Browns are desperate, this might be my bet of the year, Cle upset lock it!!
