Drew’s Top 12 Most Dynamic Football Players in 2021

Hi everyone, after a couple of bye weeks from the Top 12 (Because I’m awesome!!) The Top 12 is back again. The NFL compiled a Top 100 players which inspired to create this list. This is not necessarily the Top 12 players in football. This is strictly the most dynamic 12 players this season for me. These players all have and in my opinion continue to make a lot of how in the hell did he do that plays. This is my list, always made for banter so please chime in. Appreciate your support, have yourself a great Wendesday.

12. LaVonte David/Devin White- Bucs

I know that I am supposed to pick one player but here you can’t have one awesome linebacker without the other. I’ve always enjoyed greats from Ray Lewis to Luke Kuechly who make the middle tier of the defense become a no fly zone. This is more than true by two Bucs linebackers that as so fast and athletic they put many NFL Safeties to shame. Here is a highlight mix just to show just how awesome they are. Call me a football savant to enjoy these two as much as I do.

11. Chase Young- WFT

Outside of some guy who looks like a Character in boy meets world (more on him shortly) the WFT’s Chase Young was the most dynamic rookie last season. There have been can’t miss pass rushers in recent drafts but nobody in recent memory compares with the 2020 2nd Overall Pick. Chase Young is an amazing passrusher and could change a game on any play but on this Touchdown in San Fran… I mean Arizona against the 49ers last season he shows just how fast he is for a man his size. Once in a generation talent indeed.

10. Justin Herbert- Chargers

As they do in the sports tabloids and sports talk shows Quarterbacks will take up quite a bit of this list and who else to marvel in than the Chargers super 2nd year QB (who looks so young it still looks like he’s going through puberty). Justin Herbert has the ability to break off a 20 yard run or a 60 yard dime in the air, you never know what you are going to get from the Oregon product. The Bolts are going to be a fun team to watch in 2021.

9. Christian McCaffrey- Panthers

Christian McCaffrey only played three games due to injury in 2020, how did he do in those three games? Well how about 225 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns and 17 catches for 149 yards and another touchdown. No wonder why he is getting drafted first around every fantasy draft. There is nothing that McCaffrey can’t do on a football field.

8. Derrick Henry- Titans

Derrick Henry is 6-3 247, he’s built like a middle linebacker and runs like a wide receiver. For all of the Alabama running back bust (Trent Richardson) or running backs who were good but not great (Mark Ingram) Derrick Henry has exceeded expectations. His stiff arm is deadly but he’s also a menace between the tackles or in the open field. You never know what is going to happen when Ryan Tannehill hands the Bama back the football.

7. D.K Metcalf- Seahawks

D.K Metcalf is still very raw and drops the ball way too often for my liking. But if you go by a dynamic receiver that is on the athletic level only seen by these receivers, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones (that’s really it). D.K Metcalf is an absolute marvel to watch. With Russell Wilson really looking to become simpatico with D.K in 2020 we are certainly going to see some highlight reel moments with the Ole Miss body builder in 2021.

6. Kyler Murray- Cardinals

Remember that this is the most dynamic players list and not the best players list. On that scale I may be putting the 5’10 Oklahoma product too low. We have yet to see the 50 yard touchdown run from Kyler Murray but I’m predicting it happens this season. From a hail Murray to him shaking off defenders like Allen Iverson does on a crossover an exciting Kyler Murray play could come at any time.

5. Aaron Donald- Rams

Aaron Donald is the most dominant defensive player in the NFL (and has been for about 6 years now). He is double teamed on every play yet he still finds a way to make an impact on a football game. If you don’t enjoy watching Aaron Donald demoralize and throw around 330 pound men every Sunday then you must just be someone who watches football for fantasy purposes and God bless your soul.

4. Josh Allen- Bills

I’ve said it so many times that I’m numb at this point. NO QB IN FOOTBALL HAS MORE RAW ABILITY THAN JOSH ALLEN, NONE!! That doesn’t mean that Josh Allen is the best or even most dynamic QB or player in the league. But Josh Allen is certainly high on this list. He can throw the ball 60 yards off his back foot or bulldozer over a safety with his huge 6’5 240 frame. The sky is the limit for the Wyoming Cowboy in 2021.

3. Tyreek Hill- Chiefs

He is called the cheetah for a reason. The Cheetah is the fastest animal in the world and Tyreek Hill is the fastest player in the football field. He is also the most dangerous player in the league with the ball in his hands in the open field. Andy Reid is so creative that you can find a compilation on you tube of just about any possible play design that results in Hill doing something awesome. He is the most dynamic non QB in football right now and it’s second place isn’t close.

2. Lamar Jackson- Ravens

Anyone who has watched football knows how fun Lamar Jackson is to watch. Things will not change in 2021 as Lamar Jackson is entering his prime. He is a wide receiver trapped in a Quarterbacks body when it comes his athletic ability. Jackson’s passing ability has always been underrated but it’s his ability to make the impossible possible with his legs that makes him so dynamic. You remember this game changer in the Wild Card round right?

1.Patrick Mahomes- Chiefs

Come on is there any debate here to who is not just the best player in football but also the most dynamic player. He throws the ball no look, he has made some of the most stupefying throws you have ever seen. Patrick Mahomes simply put is the most exciting player in all of football to watch. He is the new age great Quarterback, he’s cool and fun and likeable. My favorite Mahomes play was the fade back 20 yards and launch touchdown on a Monday night in Baltimore last season. It was the ultimate Mahomes play, oh no he’s in trouble.. oh wait that play was freaking awesome!! Please comment below or twitter or facebook, always love the banter. Have a great Wednesday!!
