1 Megan Rapinoe Vs 16 A’ja Wilson

Megan Rapinoe (American Soccer Player) Overview: Megan Rapinoe is the arguably the best soccer player in the entire world and certainly the star of the U.S women’s national team. Rapinoe has helped spearheaded the U.S to back to back World Cup Championships. Rapinoe alone in international competition has 55 career goals.

A’ja Wilson (WNBA Aces) Overview: You know we have to represent Vegas in this Bracket and A’ja Wilson is the star of the Las Vegas Aces who are an ascending team in the WNBA. In the 2020 Season Wilson averaged 20.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

8 Eliud Kipchoge Vs 9 Neymar Jr.

Eliud Kipchoge (Kenyan Long distance runner) Overview: Eluid Kipchoge is the greatest marathon runner in modern history. Kipchoge set the all time record a 5,000 meter distance with a record time of 2:01:39 at the 2018 Berlin Marathon. Kipchoge won the gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio in the marathon. You think what Kipchoge accomplishes is easy I’d like to see you go try to run 2 miles at full speed and see who long you last.

Neymar Jr. (Brazilian Soccer Player) Overview: Neymar is the one of the best scores in the entire world and is the star of the Brazilian soccer team. Neymar has had 64 goals in 103 matches for Brazil which is a ludicrous number. Overall Neymar has 324 career goals in 514 matches.

5 Tyson Fury Vs 12 Serena Williams

Tyson Fury (British Boxer) Overview: Known for his long reach being 6’9 Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight boxer in the World and is a two time heavyweight champion. Fury has never lost a fight in his career as his overall record is 30-0-1. Fury is the man to beat and the biggest ticket in heavyweight boxing today.

Serena Williams (American Tennis Player) Overview: Serena Williams is probably without much debate the best women’s tennis player of all time with her impressive 23 majors won. But Williams currently ranked 7th in the World and hasn’t won a major since 2017. That being said being 39 years young yet still one of the best shows how impressive of a career Serena has had and is more than deserving to be a dangerous 12 seed in this Region.

4 Katie Ledecky Vs 13 Max Verstappen

Katie Ledecky (American Swimmer) Overview: Katie Ledecky is the best swimmer in the World and is one more great run in Tokyo away from putting herself into the Biles and Phelps in terms of legend in American Olympics history. Between the London and Rio Olympics Ledecky has won five gold medals and has 15 World Championship golds. Certainly the gold standard in not just women’s swimming but in all of swimming and is still only 23 years old.

Max Verstappen (Dutch Formula One driver) Overview: Max Verstappen is a four time Formula One driver of the year and the arguably the best driver in the World. Verstappen since Joining Formula One in 2014 has 10 wins in his short yet brilliant career.

6 Valentina Schevchenko Vs 11 Nathan Chen

Valentina Schevchenko (Krygyzstani-Peruvian MMA) Overview: Valentina Schevchenko is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the World. Schevchenko is the current UFC women’s flyweight Champion. Schevechenko is 20-3 in her career and is on a current 6 bout winning streak.

Nathan Chen (American Figure Skater) Overview: Nathan Chen is arguably the best male figure skater in the World as of today. Chen is a back to back World Champion. The 2017 Four Continents Champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final champion and a five time National Champion. Chen will be a force in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

3 Dustin Johnson Vs 14 Kevin De Bruyne

Dustin Johnson (American Golfer) Overview: Dustin Johnson took home all of the major accolades in 2020 Winner the Tour Championship and Player of the Year awards. Johnson also broke the Masters scoring record getting to 20 under par in a dominating Victory at Augusta National. In a sport that has been ultra competitive over the past few years right now Johnson is playing chess and the rest of golf is playing checkers.

Kevin De Bruyne (Belgian Soccer Player) Overview: Kevin De Bruyne is on of the best players in all of football (or soccer for us in the U.S). De Bruyne is the co-captain of the Belgian National Team. De Bryune has scored 60 career goals and is considered one of the best midfielders in the World. De Bruyne helped lead Belgium to the Bronze in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

7 Janja Garnbret Vs 10 Conor McGregor

Janja Garnbret (Slovenian Rock Climber) Overview: Janja Garnbret is known as the best Rock Climber in the World. Garnbret has won 14 World Championship and is the climber in history to weeps a bouldering World Cup Season. Very few sports or occupations in the World we can clearly say who’s the best Garnbret in Rock/sport climber in the undisputedly the best.

Conor McGregor (Irish MMA) Overview: Maybe the seeding is a little Duke in this years March Madness (you watch them get an 8-9 seed after being 7-7 a couple of weeks ago). Anyways off my soap box and to McGregor who is still the biggest ticket in MMA. McGregor still even with a little big of a decline as of late is an impressive 22-5 in his career. McGregor is a former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion.

2 Vivianne Miedema Vs 15 Justin Thomas

Vivianne Miedema (Dutch Soccer Player) Overview: Vivianne Miedema is arguably the best overall Women’s footballer (Soccer in U.S) player in the entire World. Miedema was named the player of the year in 2020. Miedema has a ridiculous 208 goals in 242 career appearances. Miedema is maybe the best current goal scorer in men’s or women’s soccer right now (Sure Rapinoe, Messi and Ronaldo will all say hold my beer).

Justin Thomas (American Golfer) Overview: Justin Thomas after a mini slump appears to have recovered him game in 2020 to be become one of the best in the game again. Thomas had a dominating victory at the St. Jude Invitational last season and finished fourth at last season’s Masters. With how well Thomas is playing we have to give him good odds to win his second major in 2021 (2017 PGA was his first).
